Unofficial soundtrack for Rock and Roll Reform School Zombies, my new novella from Deadite Press. Compiled using the 8tracks website. The novella is a period piece set in 1987 and the music is all punk and heavy metal music from the 70's and 80's.
ROCK AND ROLL REFORM SCHOOL ZOMBIES was recommended to me by Colum at paperbackhorror.com and I am absolutely in love! As a child of the 80s and lover of metal this is a book after my own heart. Wayne & Steve peeling out of the Kwik Mart blasting Misfit's "Horror Business" is killer.
Stopped by your site after reading that passage and imagine my surprise to see an unofficial soundtrack opening with one of my favorite Cramp's songs "Surfin' Dead!"
Author of several mass market horror novels from Leisure Books, including House of Blood, Deathbringer, The Freakshow, Queen of Blood, Soultaker, Depraved, The Killing Kind, and The Dark Ones. Most of my more recent books have been published under my own imprint, Bitter Ale Press. These include Slowly We Rot, 68 Kill, The Reborn, Strange Ways, and several others. Bestselling horror author Brian Keene has called Slowly We Rot, "The best zombie novel I've ever read." 68 Kill was adapted into a motion picture starring Matthew Gray Gubler. The film was released in 2017 and won the Midnighters Award at the SXSW film festival.
