Depraved limited edition in the works

Attention Depraved fans. I have sold the limited edition rights to this recent Leisure release. It will be a high-end collector's edition. Details, including the publisher, to follow in a week or two, as I have agreed to wait for the publisher to make their official announcement before saying anything else.

Hi Bryan,

I don't know if you'll actually read this comment or if you have web people that handle your site for you...but I just read DEPRAVED.
HOLY SHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am a huge horror fan, I love writers like Jack Ketchum, Edward Lee, Richard Laymon....just to name a few favorites....but man, can I tell you that you have blown me away with DEPRAVED. What a great ride that was !!!!!!

A friend of mine and I bought it at the same time and read it this week. I don't know how you come up with this stuff, but it was incredible!!!!!!!! Every page was a non stop rollercoaster of depravity to its fullest. I love your method of writing. It was literally impossible to get bored reading this book. I love how it went from one story line of characters to another and back again. I loved the short chapters. I loved all the characters and everything that took place. What an amazing piece of literature that was. You deserve a medal for that one.
It is the first book of yours that I have read....do you have others that are similar to it in its' completely horrific, disgusting, violent, sexually degrading manner!? lol

( I'm not a sicko or anything...but damnit...I can't keep my hands off books like this)

Please recommend another of your books that you think will tickle my fancy....

I can't even begin to explain how amazingly shocked I was at this book. I can't stop thinking about it.

Do you have a message board anywhere? or is this the only way to reach out to you?

I would love to hear back from you. I know your probably busy...(but one thing I love about Jack Ketchum as an author is that he responds to everyone on his message board...and even by name)It's really cool to get that connection with the author...it makes them want to go out and buy everything you've written when you feel like they reach out to their readers.

Sorry if I seem pushy...I'm just really excited about this book!

jjv2@hotmail.com is how I can be reached.
Thanx

Joanne

Joanne,

Sorry I haven't replied earlier. I didn't see your comment until now. I'm glad to hear you enjoyed the book so much. Of my other books, The Freakshow is probably the closest to being as fucked up as Depraved. Though Soultaker and the soon to be released The Killing Kind come pretty close, too.

I do have a message board. There's a link to it in a sidebar on my main blog page. You have to register to be able to post, but it's worth it. Lots of posts there. Hope to see you there.
