Highways To Hell cover

Time for the first non-depressing post on this blog in quite some time. Here is the cover for Highways To Hell, my short fiction collection from Deadite Press. It should be available for order from Amazon.com by the end of the month.

Wow, can't wait to read this, and I'm glad there will be a physical release. I have a quick comment and question, if you don't mind. I discovered your work about a month ago and I'm almost done plowing thru all of your Leisure titles. Don't worry, I'll be buying the Deadite versions as well when they come out, especially for the cool covers. I've already ordered R&R Reform School Zombies. I'm pretty much obsessed, so much so that I've been posting rave reviews on Amazon of your more recent Leisure titles (Your novels are pretty hard to review for me. Mine all boil down to: "This was the most wretched, most utterly demented thing I've ever read, and I'm gonna need a lot of therapy to get over the horrible images in my head. Highly recommended!), and pretty anxious to read The Dark Ones and Darkened. Will there be physical releases of these soon, from Deadite or elsewhere? I haven't been able to find any info. E-readers are hard on my eyes, so my Kindle is pretty much a really expensive paperweight right now. I'm gonna be jonesing here pretty soon after I'm done with R&RRSZ and Highways to Hell.

And thank you for reigniting my passion for horror-fiction.

Jack, first of all, thank you for reading all the books. I'm always glad to hear about it when someone's enjoyed them so much. Regarding The Dark Ones, yes, there will be a paperback of that from Deadite Press. It's currently scheduled for August. There was limited edition hardcover version of The Dark Ones published by Delirium Books earlier this year. I am not sure if any copies of those are left, but if you're interested, you could check with them. Also, the Deadite edition of The Killing Kind will be out the first or second week of July. Later this year, Deadite will publish new editions of Depraved and The Freakshow. They'll do the rest of my Leisure titles next year. As for Darkened, there will definitely be a physical edition at some point, but I don't have the details on that yet. Whenever it happens, it'll definitely be mentioned on my blog. Again, thanks for the interest.

Hi Bryan. The cover art for your new collection looks amazing! I stumbled onto your work a few years ago when I found a battered copy of The Freakshow at my library. Since then I've been reading whatever I can find with your name on it and I've been enjoying the hell out of it. I think that is one of my favorite things about reading your books. I can tell your having just as much fun writing them as I am reading them. I'm happy to see you have quiet a few titles available on the Kindle. As much as I prefer holding real books in my hands, I've been able to read alot more since buying one. I've been trying to hunt down some short stories by you but haven't had any luck, that's why I'm really excited about this upcoming collection. I wish you all the best in all your future projects. And thanks again for all the hard work that goes into writing. This is one fan that truly appreciates it!

Wow, amazing cover! Nothing subtle there. I'm so happy to hear that you have some new work coming out. Been a fan for many years (and was about to join the Leisure brotherhood last year, but pulled out when I saw the place falling apart). I can't wait to read it! Best of luck. -- Hunter
